What is the definition of insanity?

It’s doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.
By that standard, most of us are insane. But not at the same time… and on that basis, we trust.
But can this way of life endure if more and more people are insane at the same time? It become systemic.. like cancer.
What happens then?

For some reason, I find it hard to accept feelings of affection, like I can’t stand too much of it. I freak out when people get too attached to me. There is some kind of huge psychological barrier between me and others I have tried so hard to overcome. I get overwhelmed by people easily and I have this constant craving for personal space.
